![]() Seeing as I'll be playing the game on an emulator (since most hard versions of the game would be toast by now due to notorious overuse of the sensor with old high powered light bulbs.) I will be using a modded version of the cart that allows me to freely control the amount of sun the sensor receives, which is necessary to complete several of the game's puzzles and makes some fights easier. Many people who were old enough to have played through the era of GBA games will remember that this game series was the one with the akwardly shaped GBA cart that stuck out of the slot alot, looked transparent, and had a solar panel on the top. ![]() It is up to you and your trusty mentor Otenko to pick up the torch and finish the job set out before you to prevent the end of the world by way of the Undeadening an effect cast by the presence of immortals on the world that is slowly causing it to die and rot away from the inside out. You play as Django, the young son of a famous Solar Gunner and Vampire Hunter who at the beginning of the game is presumed dead by the immortals he opposed. So, tell me what you think, and please feel free to give ideas or critiques, I don't shy away from things like that.įor more information about Boktai, it is a non-turn based, isometric, Dungeon Crawling RPG, made for the Gameboy Advance. I'm intending to drum up interest, as well as set a date on paper for things, since I am terrible at keeping schedules if I don't commit to them. (Kinda like I planned it, but Sundays are kinda when I am the most free, so it works out) Willing to change it up and stuff if the material gets stale, or when my practice changes focus. Right now I'm prepping for a Let's Play set I intend to do for a game called Boktai and I wanted to run it on Sundays, and call it Solar Sundays. ![]() In the meantime I want to try again at a weekly stream. So I'm stuck trying to figure out what to do next. And for some reason every time I process a video again, it diminishes the quality greatly. So editting said game kinda fell through? I made errors, saved it, and accidentally junked the original footage. I also have a huge library of games at my disposal as of Extra Life last month, and I'll be picking games that interest me or games that I've tried a small bit that I find would be interesting to show. Some of the Let's Plays later on will showcase friends that have interest in making videos with me and want to show of certain games. (I'm using fraps to record in pure, then I have to convert the video into a more manageable size, it takes awhile to convert anything in the half-hour threshold) I don't have tons of room on my HD to record things, so it may be slow goings at first. I'll be getting the first few videos up in a few days as I record a few sessions. It's fairly straightforward, and I can finish it, as well as the game is tons of fun and interesting to watch. I'm currently working on my first game to ease me into the scene again. Been meaning to do this for awhile, getting back to my LPing roots and trying things out or generally starting to play games on camera, since my first impressions tend to be the most interesting.
